Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory is seeking an EHS Executive (Chemical Engineering) in Singapore. Location is Tuas with transport support; 5-day week, 8am–5pm. Salary SGD 3,800–4,300.

Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field plus at least 2 years in manufacturing/chemical safety. Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health is required. Desirable: MOM WSHO registration, knowledge of WSH/SCDF/NEA, ISO45001 and ISO14001.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or any Engineering discipline, with at least 2 years in manufacturing/chemical industry as Safety Coordinator or Engineer.
• Possess Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
• Knowledge of local WSH legislation (WSH/SCDF/NEA), and ISO45001/ISO14001 and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall Plant Operation Safety matters including EHS training, Safe Work Procedures review and incident investigations.
• Mentor multiple operational departments in the EHS Management program and implement RM plans within EMM operations.
• Conduct daily safety walkabouts and rectify hazards within the premises.
• Develop and circulate weekly EHS toolbox meeting topics.
• Train, coordinate and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team for first-aid, firefighting and evacuation.
• Organize campaigns and training to maintain EHS awareness among employees.
• Monitor EHS practices, identify non-compliance and propose CAPA.
• Alert management to machinery or process risks affecting employee safety.
• Participate in customer site visits and prepare supporting EHS documents.

5 Days work per week (Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm)

• Evaluate impact of health hazards to employees' safety and prioritize issues based on severity
• Support EHS policy, procedure and program implementation.
• May require in participating in customer site visits and preparing necessary supporting documents.
