TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an ESH Specialist to support workplace safety, health and environmental programs across a chemical plant environment. You will conduct inspections, training, risk assessments and inductions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and ISO standards.
The role involves coordinating safety testing, PTW, MOC, LOTO and safe shutdown procedures, plus data analysis, reporting and collaboration with vendors to maintain a strong safety culture.
Support the ESH Section Manager in implementing workplace safety, health and environmental programs.
Conduct workplace inspections, safety training, risk assessments and new employee safety inductions.
Support HAZOP, EAI, PPE assessments, PSSR inspections and process safety improvement activities.
Collect and analyse ESH data, identify gaps and work with stakeholders on improvement measures.
Ensure compliance with Singapore EHS regulations, ISO standards and Safety & Health Management Systems (SHMS).
Coordinate external safety testing, inspections, certifications and training.
Manage contractor safety, including safety inductions, Permit-to-Work (PTW), 5S and on-site compliance.
Review SOPs and process changes, supporting MOC, LOTO and safe shutdown procedures.
Support emergency response planning, drills, equipment checks and ERP updates.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers for safety-related equipment/services, quotations and delivery arrangements.
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent.
0–3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a chemical plant/manufacturing environment.
Fresh graduates with relevant Process Safety Management (PSM) knowledge can be considered.
Good knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and process safety principles.
Knowledge of Singapore EHS legal requirements.
Familiarity with ISO standards and management systems.
Knowledge or exposure to MHI implementation and assessment is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including formulas, functions and data tools.
Strong interest in process safety and ESH compliance.
Able to communicate effectively and promote safe work practices across the organization.
