Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking an EHS Executive based in Tuas, Singapore.

You will lead plant operation safety matters, conduct EHS training, review Safe Work Procedures and investigate incidents. You will mentor operations, implement EHS management systems, run daily safety walkabouts, organize weekly toolbox talks, and train the Emergency Response Team. A Diploma or Degree in engineering plus 2 years in manufacturing/chemical safety is required; advanced safety certificates are

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or any Engineering discipline with at least 2 years in manufacturing/chemical safety.
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health is required.
• MHS course preferred; MOM WSHO registration is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of local safety laws (WSH/SCDF/NEA) and ISO45001/ISO14001.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall Plant Operation Safety matters, EHS training, review Safe Work Procedures and incident investigations.
• Mentor multiple departments in the EHS Management program and implement RM plans.
• Conduct daily safety walkabouts and rectify hazards.
• Prepare and circulate weekly EHS toolbox topics.
• Train and supervise the Emergency Response Team (first aid, firefighting, evacuation).
• Organize campaigns and training to raise EHS awareness.
• Check general EHS practices and propose CAPA.
• Raise alarms on machinery or processes that pose injury risk.
• Evaluate non-compliance and safety gaps; prioritize health hazards.

EHS Executive

• Singapore Based (Tuas, Transport provided in west MRT station / Transport allowance $120 if possess own transport)

• 5 Days work per week (Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm)

• Salary: $3800 to $4300

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or any Engineering discipline + Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in manufacturing and/or chemical industry as a Safety Coordinator or Engineer.

• Possess an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health

• Possess Management of Hazardous Substance (MHS) course preferred + A valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) is an advantage.

• Possess in depth knowledge of local legislation (e.g. WSH/SCDF/NEA), ISO45001, ISO14001 and procedures.

Job description

• To lead in the overall Plant Operation Safety matters, EHS training, reviewing Safe Work Procedures and Incident Investigation.

• Mentor multiple operational departments in the Functional EHS Management program. Implement EHS Management System and Risk Management (RM) plans within EMM operation and non-operation scope

• Conduct daily walk about and rectify any safety hazard that is found within the premises.

• Construct and circulate weekly EHS Tool Box Meeting Topics for the company.

• Train, co-ordinate and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team for the premises in first-aid, firefighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies.

• Organize campaigns, training courses and other activities which will develop and maintain the EHS awareness of the employee.

• To conduct routine checks on general EHS practices in each function and propose CAPA.

• To alert relevant Manger of any machinery, plant equipment, appliance or process used that exposes any person to the risk of bodily injury.

• Evaluate EHS non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify EHS performance gaps

• Evaluate impact of health hazards to employees' safety and prioritize issues based on severity

• Support EHS policy, procedure and program implementation.

• May require in participating in customer site visits and preparing necessary supporting documents.
