Job summary

Lovable in Stockholm is seeking a hands-on accounting leader to own the month-end close and consolidation across the US, Sweden and the UK under US GAAP. Build a scalable, audit-ready close with automation while guiding a small team and partnering with the Accounting Controller.

You will shape a continuous close, implement automated reconciliations and controls, and ensure the process remains accurate as the business grows across regions.

Qualifications

• Personally run a US GAAP month-end close and consolidation across entities.
• Experience with Big 4 audits from the company side.
• Proven drive to build an AI-first, continuous close with automated processes.
• Respect for rigorous controls, evidence, documentation and calendars.
• Prefer to fix a broken process rather than write lengthy memos.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close and consolidation for US, Sweden and UK under US GAAP.
• Schedule the close calendar and shorten it as automation grows.
• Direct automated reconciliations, flux analysis and journal workflows.
• Design audit-ready controls and evidence trails from day one.
• Support external audits and statutory audits in the UK and Sweden.
• Maintain clear close documentation for new team members and auditors.
• Coordinate with Order-to-Cash, Financial Systems, Data and FP&A.
• Coach accountants to raise quality and ownership.
