Job summary

Alight is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Stockholm on a hybrid basis. You will own accounting across group entities, drive month-end close, and support audit and annual reporting while developing improved processes and leveraging AI tools in Finance, including Claude.

The role requires 6–8 years of qualified accounting experience, strong knowledge of Swedish GAAP/K3, and fluency in Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in qualified accounting.
• Solid knowledge of K3 and Swedish GAAP.
• Experience in group accounting and reporting.
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own ongoing accounting, reconciliations and reporting across multiple entities.
• Lead monthly and annual closing with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and group guidelines.
• Bridge local GAAP with group accounting and reporting.
• Support audit processes and enhance internal controls.
