Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Several years of experience in accounting, financial control or external audit.
• Experience in a regulated environment, financial services, banking or lending and treasury is beneficial but not required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with Swedish laws: Companies Act, Annual Accounts Act, Bookkeeping Act, Income Tax Act.
• Systems aptitude and interest in process improvement and automation.
• Proficiency in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reporting and supporting analyses.
• Tax calculations, income tax reporting, and liaison with external advisors.
• Monitor and validate accounting system outputs and interfaces.
• Investigate and resolve accounting, reporting and system-related issues.
• Support implementations of new systems, processes and reporting solutions.
• Assist in developing accounting policies, controls and documentation.
• Support audits and interactions with external stakeholders and outsourcing partners.
• Participate in scalable finance processes and operating models.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting, data quality and finance transformation projects.
