Job summary

Lovable is seeking a senior technical accounting and reporting lead to own US GAAP conclusions and the auditor-ready disclosures. You will shape policies, manage global statutory reporting, and partner with auditors as Lovable scales toward a public-ready model.

You’ll build the external reporting framework, leverage AI for drafting disclosures, and ensure close processes stay efficient as the business grows across multiple entities in the US, Sweden, and the UK.

Qualifications

• Deep US GAAP expertise with ASC 842 and ASC 718.
• Big 4 background with experience in accounting advisory or SEC reporting.
• Built or upgraded external reporting processes including financial statements and disclosures.
• Ability to explain complex accounting to engineers/product managers in plain English.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and building AI-first function.

Responsibilities

• Own technical accounting: research questions, reach defensible US GAAP conclusions, write position papers.
• Own accounting for AI compute, cost of revenue, stock-based comp, leases, consolidation, foreign currency.
• Write and maintain the accounting policy manual for close team consistency.
• Build external reporting: US GAAP statements, footnotes, calendar, tie-outs for public-company standards.
• Own local statutory accounting for Swedish and UK entities (K3/FRS 102) and reconciliations to US GAAP.
• Coordinate with external audit: present judgments and prepare audit materials.
• Assess new standards/SEC requirements and plan adoption.
