Job summary

Aurora Engineering AB is seeking a Senior Test Lead / Test Manager to drive a complex ERP transformation program spanning ERP platform, data platform, and multiple integrations.

The role owns the overall testing approach, governance, and coordination across system testing, integration testing, and business UAT; it also leads release readiness, cutover planning, and go-live activities to reach a stable production state.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Test Lead / Test Manager to join a complex ERP transformation program where an ERP platform, data platform, and multiple integrations are being implemented in parallel.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the overall testing approach and provide structure, governance, and coordination across system testing, integration testing, and business UAT. The role will also play a key part in release readiness, cutover planning, and go-live, ensuring the solution reaches a stable production state.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall test strategy, test process, and test plan for the transformation program.
• Plan, coordinate, and govern System Integration Testing (SIT), integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams, systems, business functions, and external vendors.
• Establish and manage defect management and governance processes, including prioritization, escalation, and resolution tracking.
• Identify and manage testing risks, dependencies, assumptions, and critical production risks.
• Drive release readiness assessments and provide clear status reporting to program leadership.
• Lead cutover and go-live testing activities, ensuring all critical test and business readiness criteria are met.
• Support go/no-go decision-making by providing a clear assessment of test completion, quality, risks, and outstanding defects.
• Work closely with project management, development, integration, data, business, and vendor teams.
• Ensure business stakeholders are effectively engaged and prepared to participate in UAT.
• Establish appropriate test governance, reporting, KPIs, and quality gates throughout the program.
• Support the transition from testing through release, cutover, and stable go-live.

Required Experience

• Several years of experience as a Test Lead, Test Manager, or similar senior testing role within complex system implementations or transformation programs.
• Proven experience with ERP implementations or large-scale integration programs.
• Demonstrated ownership of test strategy, test planning, test processes, and test governance.
• Strong experience coordinating SIT, integration testing, and UAT across multiple teams and business areas.
• Proven experience with release management, go-live, and cutover planning/execution.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and system dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across project management, IT, business teams, development/integration teams, and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently, challenge existing approaches, identify risks, and bring structure to complex environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) implementations or major enhancement programs.
• Experience leading testing within finance and ERP processes.
• Experience with end-to-end flows involving ERP, integrations, data platforms, and surrounding systems.
• Experience with Azure DevOps / Test Plans, Microsoft LCS, or similar ALM and test management tools.
• Experience working on international or multi-entity ERP rollouts.
• Experience in environments with multiple system, data, integration, and business dependencies.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a senior test professional who has personally led testing through at least one major ERP go-live.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate practical experience in:

• Building and implementing a comprehensive test strategy.
