Job summary

ABB Sweden is seeking a Technical Lead for engineering activities in service commitments within the Ports division. You will lead design, testing, and commissioning of automation and control systems, collaborating with project teams, and coordinating with customers to meet requirements in a cost-efficient way.

The role involves international travel, working with SW & HW designers and service teams, and ensuring compliance with standards and safety.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, electrical schematics, and system architectures.
Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, configuration, and verification of advanced automation and control systems.
Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning and start-up activities at customer sites.
Collaborate with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to identify technical solutions and address project requirements.
Ensure delivery quality by adhering to contractual commitments, standards, and health & safety regulations.
Investigate and resolve technical challenges throughout engineering, testing, and commissioning phases.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing lessons learned across projects.
