Job summary

ABB in Malmö is seeking a Test Lead to lead the PIT team of 6-7 engineers and drive automated testing across embedded controllers and backend services. You will define test strategy, expand the PIT framework, ensure quality across redundancy, cybersecurity, safety and performance, and collaborate with Process Control Platform R&D teams.

The role requires hands-on testing, experience with containerized environments, CI/CD, and strong communication in Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing and test frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the PIT team (6–7 engineers) and plan expansion.
• Drive automated test solutions for embedded controllers and engineering components.
• Oversee testing of backend services, editors, libraries, and platform functionality.
• Define and improve the test strategy and processes together with R&D teams.
• Report progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.
