Job summary

ABB Sweden is seeking a Technical Lead for engineering activities in service commitments within the Ports division. You will work with project management, SW & HW designers and service teams to ensure automation solutions are designed, tested, commissioned, and meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken.
Ability to read electrical schematics and system architectures.
Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation is advantageous.
Willingness to travel internationally as part of the role.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, configuration, and verification of advanced automation and control systems.
Perform functional testing and validation activities in a simulated test environment before deployment.
Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning and start-up activities at customer sites to ensure smooth project delivery.
Collaborate with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to identify technical solutions and address project requirements.
Ensure delivery quality by adhering to contractual commitments, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
Investigate and resolve technical challenges throughout the engineering, testing, and commissioning phases.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing lessons learned and best practices across projects.
