Job summary

Tata Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden seeks a Resident Test Engineer to drive vehicle tests in E-Propulsion, including inverters and battery/changing systems. You will lead testing strategy, coordinate on-site and offshore teams, and adapt to evolving project needs.

Applicants should have hands-on experience in system, function and vehicle testing, plus HIL/SIL benches (DSPACE) and tools such as Vector CAN tools, INCA, and Python for automation. UDS/Diagnostics skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in system testing, function and vehicle testing.
• Experience leading testing in ECU environments with ISO26262 involvement.
• HIL/SIL testing experience using DSPACE and related tools.
• Knowledge of CAN/UDS/Diagnostics and testing automation with Python.
• Ability to set up testing strategies and collaborate with onsite/offshore teams.

Job description

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Resident Test Enginee(r) to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer will be working in E-Propulsion areas (Inverter, Conversion, Battery, Charging) and mainly responsible for Vehicle tests
• Lead and Set-up testing strategy quickly, kick start testing scope for the project both at onsite and offshore teams
• Flexibility to work in different testing areas and varying demands

Requirements:

Mandatory: Swedish driving license, T1 and T2 license

• Strong background and hands on experience in System testing, Function and Vehicle testing
• Analysis and review of stake holder and system requirements and attend safety joint reviews
• Testing the system concept and solutions based on input requirements
• *HIL/Vehicle testing for traction inverters/ACDC/DCDC according to software standards such as ASPICE, ISO26262 part 4 and 6.
• Can lead documentation needed for SACA like PRST, SWTD, TR etc.
• Good hands on exp in setting up and working HIL/SIL test benches (DSPACE)
• Knowledge of test tools – Vector tools (Canalyzer, Canoe), Debuggers, INCA Etc.
• Experience in test Automation like Vtest Studio, DSPACE Autodesk, Python
• Experience in UDS/Diagnostics is a must.
• Knowledge of CI tools chain (Jenkins) & test automation would be a plus
• Exposure in testing ISO26262 -functional safety requirements
• Awareness in Electric Vehicles particularly Powertrain domain (Inverter, Battery, Charging)

Others:

• Experience in complete test development cycle (All phases of testing of an ECU)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can lead the testing team and ensure delivery of the project
