Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Technical Asset Manager in Solna to oversee the performance, reliability, and lifecycle risks of installed charging infrastructure. You will maintain a clear technical and financial overview to support maintenance and investment decisions, ensuring safe operation in line with Swedish legislation.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in asset management.
• Practical knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience with DC charging infrastructure or similar public-facing infrastructure.
• Knowledge of transformer stations is beneficial.
• ESA or ELSA training and Eldriftsansvar experience are advantageous.
• Experience with Agile or traditional project management.
• Strong analytical skills and data consolidation across sources.
• Able to work independently and make decisions with limited information.
• Strong stakeholder-management and ability to lead without formal authority.
• Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English.
• Valid EU Category B driving licence.

Technical Asset Manager

Role Objective

Manage the performance, reliability, compliance, and lifecycle risks of installed and commissioned electric-vehicle charging infrastructure. Maintain a clear technical and financial overview of the charging-asset portfolio to support informed maintenance and investment decisions. Ensure safe operation of charging infrastructure in accordance with Swedish legislation and recognised practices. Support scalable asset-management processes across Swedish and international operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage asset performance and risks across owned charging infrastructure.
• Support management teams in developing asset-management objectives and performance targets.
• Provide technical support relating to hardware, service suppliers, and charging-infrastructure performance.
• Develop and optimise technical and financial asset-management reports.
• Create and evaluate long-term maintenance plans, including lifetime-cost estimates for hardware models.
• Represent Operations in international, cross-functional forums and development initiatives.
• Prepare maintenance budgets and provide supporting analysis to management.

Tasks

• Take ownership of Eldriftsansvar (formal electrical-operations responsibility) for safe and reliable charging infrastructure operations.
• Implement and manage outsourced Eldriftsansvar arrangements for high-voltage sites, including site visits and supplier deliverables.
• Implement and monitor preventive-maintenance plans through relevant operational suppliers.
• Develop short- and long-term lifecycle strategies for the complete installed asset base.
• Maintain and update the spare-parts strategy in line with portfolio development.
• Implement operational, maintenance, and safety procedures for new products and accessories.
• Coordinate projects using Agile or traditional delivery methods as appropriate.
• Control assigned schedules, deliveries, contracts, and costs, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Translate technical issues into clear business language and business requirements into practical technical actions.

Deliverables

• Asset-maintenance plans covering all owned charging infrastructure in Sweden.
• Maintenance budgets and supporting forecasts for the Swedish charging portfolio.
• Technical and financial asset-management reports for relevant internal stakeholders.
• Compliant electrical operation and maintenance arrangements under Eldriftsansvar.
• Implemented preventive-maintenance plans and maintained spare-parts availability.
• Documented lifecycle, supplier, and portfolio-development strategies.

Decision Authority / Responsibility

• Make asset-management and operational recommendations using available technical, commercial, and performance data.
• Take decisions within the defined Eldriftsansvar remit and **escalate** safety, compliance, or technical risks appropriately.
• Direct and influence suppliers and stakeholders without formal line-management authority.
• Prioritise maintenance, reporting, and lifecycle activities within agreed budgets and business objectives.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant professional experience; asset-management experience is advantageous.
• Practical knowledge and experience of electrical systems.
• Experience with DC charging infrastructure or comparable consumer-facing infrastructure is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge or experience of transformer stations is beneficial.
• ESA or ELSA training and experience with Swedish Eldriftsansvar are beneficial.
• Project-management experience across Agile or traditional environments is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills and experience consolidating and analysing data from multiple sources.
• Able to work independently and make sound decisions with limited information.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to lead without formal authority.

• Good understanding of technical, economic, and mid- to long-term strategic considerations.
