Job summary

CTEK in Sweden is seeking an experienced Development Manager – System and Product Development to lead and grow our System Engineers and Technical Product Owners. You will combine people leadership with deep technical understanding to clarify requirements, define product scope, and align priorities across functions.

Reporting to the CTO, you will drive risk management, resource planning, and improvements in systems engineering while fostering a culture built on Innovation, Passion and Trust.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience in product development organisations with a strong technical background.
• Leadership experience within systems engineering, architecture or product development.
• Background in hardware-centric product development preferred.
• Experience through the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production and maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to bring people together around complex technical topics.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop System Engineers and Technical Product Owners, combining people leadership with technical understanding.
• Create clarity around requirements, product scope and priorities, while bringing different functions together around complex technical topics.
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and uncertainties.
• Drive improvements in systems engineering, requirements management and technical product ownership.
• Plan and allocate resources across product lines and projects.
• Take responsibility for key aspects of people management, including budget, competence development, work environment and team structure.
• Represent your team as part of the wider CTEK organization and understand how your area contributes to the business.
• Lead in line with our Cornerstones, Innovation, Passion and Trust, encouraging new ideas, creating engagement and building trust through collaboration and accountability.
