Job summary

BMI Group is seeking a Finance Controller for Sweden based in Malmö to safeguard financial integrity and provide strategic financial support. You will partner with Nordic leadership, streamline accounting processes, and ensure compliance with IFRS and Swedish tax rules.

The role combines hands-on financial control with strategic advisory for senior management. You will report to the Nordic Finance Director and work from the Swedish office in Malmö, contributing to a transformational journey

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• Proven track record in a finance role with stakeholder management.
• Expertise in accounting principles, local Swedish standards and IFRS.
• Experience with SAP/S4HANA and analytics tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Guard financial integrity of BMI Sweden entities and align with business priorities.
• Lead end-to-end financial accounting, reporting and controls.
• Oversee statutory reporting and external audit coordination.
• Deliver actionable financial insights to Senior Management on a regular basis.
• Streamline month-end close and strengthen governance across BMI.
