Job summary

Telia Finance AB is seeking a collaborative Financial Controller to strengthen accounting, financial reporting, and operations across the Nordic region. The role is hybrid and based in Solna, Sweden, offering mentorship, development opportunities, and a chance to influence the finance function with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

You will lead closing cycles, ensure compliance, support AR/AP processes, and drive efficiency initiatives across Nordic entities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting, financial closing, and reporting processes.
• Strong knowledge of tax, VAT, accounts receivable/payable, and reconciliation routines is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Agresso / Unit4) and finance process improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of financial services, regulated industries, or Nordic business operations.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in accounting and financial reporting across Nordic entities, ensuring accurate records, compliance, and continuous process improvements.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timely reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee tax, statutory, and regulatory accounting matters while ensuring compliance across Nordic legal entities and branches.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Drive process improvements and finance development initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability within the finance function.
