Job description

Student – Technical Training Coordinator

The Technical Training and Content Development Team is looking for a student assistant to support the coordination and administration of our technical training weeks and help out with other administrative tasks. We are looking for someone who is structured, proactive and enjoys keeping many practical details in order, so that our training events run smoothly for participants and colleagues from around the world. Please note that this role is based at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden, on site.

Who is your future team?

Multicultural team of ambitious and experienced engineers responsible for education, training, knowledge sharing, and support of our international colleagues across the globe. We're a driven and high-pace team that thrives for team results through curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and a genuine desire to help and support one another. At the same time, we know how to have fun—celebrating wins together, keeping the energy high, and making room for laughter even on the busiest days.

With a multicultural mix of backgrounds and perspectives, we foster an open environment where ideas can flow and be challenged freely. If you're looking for a place where your energy, curiosity, and passion will be matched by those around you, and openness is your culture, you'll feel right at home here.

What will you do as a Technical Training Coordinator?

Our team delivers technical knowledge through hands-on workshops, online learning modules, internal conferences, and technical documents — and you will make sure that participants, presenters and contributors have everything they need, at the right time. You will work closely with the training engineers and be in contact with colleagues across Axis, which gives you a broad insight into a global organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing our shared team mailbox and handling correspondence with participants, from registration confirmations and practical information to reminders and follow-up surveys
  • Coordinating meetings and schedules — sending invitations to presenters and contributors, following up on responses, and distributing the training schedule
  • Arranging the practical side of our training weeks, such as catering, dietary requirements, dinner bookings and welcome gifts
  • Handling documentation and administration, including participant lists, workshop materials, certificates, registrations and invoice follow-up
  • Implement automation of administrative tasks with the help of AI to improve our efficiency.

Other tasks that you will be responsible for can be:

  • Database management, go through existing material and make updates when possible, or collecting the needed information to do so
  • Creating news posts
  • Update lists and different materials
Who are we looking for?

We believe that you are a structured and organized person who enjoys taking ownership of practical tasks and following them through. You keep track of many parallel details without losing the overview, and you are comfortable prioritizing when several things need your attention at once.

You are proactive and resourceful — you spot what needs to be done and find a way to solve it. Since much of the role is about communication with colleagues around the world, you are responsive, service-minded and clear in writing English.

You have:
  • At least a high school diploma. Preferably, you are in 1st or 2nd year of your university studies in a technical or business program
  • Strong organisational skills and a structured, detail-oriented way of working
  • Experience of administrative or coordination work, for example from event, office or association work
  • Familiarity with common office and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
  • Ongoing studies throughout the employment period
We'd love to hear that you have:
  • Experience with AI
  • Knowledge of Swedish
  • Experience of administrative or coordination work, for example from event, office or association work
  • Familiarity with common office and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
  • B drivers license

For us, how you work matters more than what you have studied.

You are expected to be able to work at least 1 full day or 2 half days per week. Occasional need for 4-5 half days a week during more intense periods.
