Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a proactive Production Planner to support the Grid Automation Products division. You will review demand data, coordinate with master scheduler, and ensure timely material availability to meet workorder demands.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across functions. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office, plus Swedish and English fluency, are mandatory for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar.
• Previous experience in production planning or similar field.
• Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze demand forecasting data to plan production schedules with master scheduler and production manager.
• Collaborate with production manager to understand capacity, resources, and create accurate schedules.
• Coordinate with Material Planner to ensure timely availability of materials for workorders.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to meet changing demands.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in the planning process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production planning.
