Job summary

Hitachi, Ltd. in Ludvika is seeking a Production Planner to optimize production flow and ensure on-time delivery. You will develop and adjust detailed production plans based on demand and capacity, working closely with purchasing, inventory, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering and Management or related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in production planning.
• Experience with ERP (SAP) and MPS/MRP systems.
• Structured and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration with teams.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain detailed production schedules and plans.
• Monitor production processes and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inventory and production teams for material availability and capacity.
• Analyze production data and delivery performance to identify improvements.
• Be responsible for capacity planning and resource utilization.
• Communicate changes in production plans to stakeholders.
• Drive improvements by introducing new processes and tools to reduce disruptions and lead times.
