Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Material Planner for HVDC Control & Protection Operations in Sweden. You will manage material administration from project start to site shipment, coordinating with production, project managers, and warehouses.

The role emphasizes learning, flexibility, and collaboration within a diverse team. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in the industry, a scientific or technical background, and fluency in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the industry.
• Educational background in scientific or technical subject.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
• Experience with data analysis and project management is meriting.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase requests and follow up on delivery with SCM.
• Plan and release material for production.
• Collaborate with Sub-project managers and warehouse to ensure material availability.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure material is in the right place at the right time.
• Propose improvements to processes and work practices.
