Job summary

You will collaborate with stakeholders across IKEA to understand needs and drive technical vision, prioritizing scalability, reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in modern software engineering principles and practices.
• Strong knowledge of architecture concepts and frameworks (TOGAF or similar).
• Experience governing digital product architecture across teams or product areas.
• Experience mentoring and leading engineers in complex technical environments.
• Ability to understand and navigate complex business and technology landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Align engineering initiatives and best practices across multiple teams within a product area.
• Govern architecture design and refactoring in line with enterprise guidelines.
• Support teams with technical decision-making, design patterns and platform usage.
• Drive technical improvements to increase reliability, performance and efficiency.
• Act as an ambassador for software engineering and security best practices.
