Job summary

IKEA in Malmö is looking for Software Engineers to join Range Core within Product Management. You will design, develop and operate software across product components, collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver value for millions of homes.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, agile practices, high-quality code, and close collaboration with product teams. You’ll help shape the product mindset and ensure scalable, reliable software in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.
• Solid experience in frontend and backend development including modern frameworks.
• Experience with React/NextJS, TypeScript, C#, .NET, Node.js.
• Solid understanding of API design and integration (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL/PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Git and DevOps in Agile environments.
• Experience in Azure services, CI/CD, IaC, containers & orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and operate software code within the assigned technology domain, platform or product.
• Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as CI/CD within an agile and iterative development approach.
• Deliver tested, maintainable and well-documented code in line with agreed architectural principles and security requirements.
• Work closely with team members to ensure quality, reuse and learning across the product area.
