Job summary

Software Engineer (Scrum Master)

Location: Malmö, Sweden. This role is part of the Digital Product Area Range Core – Food within Technology at Inter IKEA Group, focusing on product information standardisation across the value chain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master, ensuring effective Scrum ceremonies and fostering an agile working environment.
• Develop and deliver technical solutions, contributing actively to the product’s evolution.
• Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Drive the creation of a robust foundation for product information, ensuring seamless use across partners and suppliers.
• Champion customer‑centric solutions, optimising relevance and cost.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Scrum team leadership; Scrum Master certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of Java experience, building RESTful services with Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud deployment, event‑driven architecture, and integrations.
• Proficient with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) for data modelling, query optimisation, and performance tuning.
• Curiosity and experience in system design within the PLM ecosystem (Optiva from Infor).
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of IKEA’s core values and cultural principles.
• Optional: Experience building dynamic, responsive UIs with NextJS/TypeScript.
