Job description

Established in 1986 in the Swedish mountains, our love for skiing in untouched terrain and embarking on adventures in the wild run deep. Our purpose is simple: to bring this freeride spirit to the world. With our products, we aim to make adventures possible 365 days a year.

We are driven by passion, togetherhood, responsibility and winning spirit. We know that an inspiring spread of unique abilities and personalities contribute to our dynamic culture and our success. Now, we are looking for a new talent to join our team.

As Social Media Manager you own Peak Performance’s Global Social Media Strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, translating our long‑term strategic plan into a content calendar aligned with brand objectives and campaigns across all channels and regions.

Working closely with Brand Marketing, PR, E‑commerce, athletes and creative teams, you lead on strategy, budgeting, campaign amplification and reporting, and guide expansion markets on social media approach. You work closely with our Social Content Creator, creating content plans to ensure output is high‑quality and aligned with our brand values and growth objectives.

You build strong relationships with partners, collaborators and stakeholders, and use performance insights and KPI analysis to continuously sharpen our strategy and keep Peak Performance relevant, distinctive and impactful across all social channels.

The position is based at our headquarters in Stockholm and reports to the Head of Global Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve Peak Performance’s Global Social Media Strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, translating brand and business goals into a content calendar aligned with campaigns across all channels and regions.
  • Own the Global Social Media Calendar and support brand campaign amplification, including shot lists, shoot creative advisory, BTS/on‑site capture planning, asset selection and posting.
  • Proactive and reactive community management, fostering meaningful engagement with our audience by actively managing online communities, responding to enquiries, and building relationships with followers and brand advocates.
  • Define target audiences and ensure content is strategically split and tailored accordingly.
  • Provide channel insight, creative ideas and functional point of view during seasonal creative and go‑to‑market processes, working closely with the creative and art team.
  • Collaborate with creative, PR, and brand marketing teams to develop platform‑specific content that resonates with audiences and enhances brand storytelling.
  • Act as a key partner to local teams, and partner brands, providing guidance on global strategy implementation and adapting content for regional relevance.
  • Own the digital transformations of all channels, updating strategies where needed to maximize channel updates.
  • Lead seasonal, campaign and yearly reporting, using KPI insight to inform future planning and strategy.
  • Provide direction and guidance to the Social Content Creator, reviewing and approving content plans to ensure high‑quality output aligned with our long‑term social media strategy.

Who we think you are:

  • A strategic and hands‑on social media leader who combines strong storytelling instincts with a track record of translating brand strategy into channel performance, leading by example and actively contributing to day‑to‑day content and channel execution
  • Digitally curious, with a great understanding of social media trends and platform updates.
  • Comfortable owning a budget and making confident calls on where to invest for impact.
  • A natural collaborator, equally at ease briefing creative teams, aligning stakeholders, or working closely with content specialists.
  • Analytical and able to turn KPI data and platform insights into clear recommendations for future planning.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading social media strategy and channel management, ideally within fashion, sports or lifestyle brands, with 5+ years of experience in a brand or agency environment.
  • Proven expertise in content creation, community management, social media publishing and analytics.
  • Confident owning and tracking a social media budget, including cost approvals and spend reporting.
  • Comfortable using performance data and platform insights to inform reporting and future strategy.
  • Strong technical skills with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, native platform insights).
  • Good understanding of content production processes (photo/video) and able to advise creative teams on social‑first formats. Light touch editing required.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.

What we offer:

We offer you an inspiring work environment where our values of Passion, Togetherhood, Responsibility and Winning Spirit are at the core of everything we do, promoting creativity, teamwork, accountability, and progress. You get the opportunity to work with a great team that shares your passion for sports and outdoor life. We are on a growth journey, finding our line and building our future success. That provides interesting challenges and possibilities in all roles for the person who is curious and likes to get things done. We’re small enough for you to play a key role regardless of your position, but big enough to have a global presence. At Peak Performance, you get the best of both worlds.
