About the Role

As an Ignition Developer, you will be part of an agile solution team working with industrial digitalization, system integration, and smart manufacturing initiatives across multiple production environments.

You’ll collaborate closely with production, business, and IT stakeholders to develop scalable and reliable industrial solutions, from shop floor systems to cloud-connected platforms.

This role combines hands‑on development with technical problem solving and architecture discussions, where you’ll contribute to building robust solutions used in real production environments.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain Ignition-based solutions in industrial environments
• Integrate SCADA systems, industrial devices, and production data platforms
• Work with industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA and MQTT
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve workflows and system efficiency
• Support and optimize industrial data flows and smart manufacturing solutions
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical improvements
• Work with PLC integrations and industrial automation systems
• Drive initiatives from idea to implementation in production environments

What We’re Looking For

• Hands‑on experience working in production or manufacturing environments
• Experience developing and maintaining Ignition solutions
• Strong understanding of SCADA systems and industrial integrations
• Experience with industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA and MQTT
• Knowledge of PLC programming and configuration
• Strong programming skills within industrial applications
• Relevant education within automation, industrial IT, computer science, or similar
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

• Experience with UNS or industrial data modeling
• Experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub
• Knowledge of Kepware
• Programming experience in Java, Python, or similar
• Experience with SQL and database management
