Senior Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Automation
Your mission
You ensure that our production runs stable, safe, and at full performance.
You are:
- The technical authority in electrical systems and automation
- A key driver of uptime, reliability, and energy efficiency
- A central contributor to scaling production without disruption
What you will do
Maintenance & operational reliability
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automation systems
- Work with PLCs, control systems, frequency converters, and instrumentation
- Lead advanced fault diagnosis in complex production environments
- Ensure calibration, accuracy, and functionality of control equipment
- Maintain and update technical documentation and electrical schematics
Continuous improvement & problem solving
- Drive root cause analysis and long‑term corrective actions
- Improve system reliability, uptime, and energy efficiency
- Identify recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions
- Act as a technical mentor and elevate team competence
New equipment & industrialisation
- Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Lead electrical and automation validation in FAT and SAT
- Verify PLC logic, SCADA interfaces, and system integration
- Ensure systems meet specifications before production start
Key interfaces
You will work closely with:
- Facility & Maintenance Manager
- Mechanical & Cooling Maintenance
- Production & Engineering
- External suppliers and equipment vendors
Who you are
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics
- Certified and authorised for electrical work (Swedish regulations)
- Strong experience in PLC programming and control systems
- Minimum ~8 years in industrial maintenance, with focus on automation
- Experience with:
- SCADA systems
- OPC communication
- MES interfaces
- CMMS systems
- Solid understanding of industrial cybersecurity principles
- Trained in electrical safety, LOTO, and relevant AFS standards
