Job summary

PHINIA in Åmål is seeking a Human Resources & EHS Manager to lead the site’s HR agenda end-to-end, while coordinating local EHS and sustainability activities in partnership with the Plant Manager and regional teams.

The role requires strong business partnership, sound judgement, and collaboration with management, employees, and unions. Deep knowledge of Swedish labor market practices and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, labor relations or related field.
• Master’s degree or HR/labor law training is a plus.
• Experience with Swedish employment legislation and unions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function for the Åmål site and drive the annual HR plan and budget.
• Partner with Plant Manager and leadership on organizational effectiveness and change management.
• Coordinate local consultation and negotiations with trade unions and employee representatives.
• Ensure compliance with Swedish employment law, data privacy, and internal policies; oversee EHS and sustainability topics.
