Job summary

Orica Sweden AB in Gyttorp is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead all on-site engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations. You will drive performance, develop your team and deliver long-term improvements aligned with the plant's goals.

You will own the maintenance strategy, manage capital projects, and collaborate with local, regional and global stakeholders to maximise throughput and minimise downtime in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a relevant science discipline.
• Strong experience from manufacturing environments.
• Proven leadership within engineering or maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering and maintenance teams.
• Own and improve the site’s maintenance and asset strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Support and guide capital projects and technical initiatives.
