Job summary

Orica is seeking a driven Project Delivery Lead to join our PMO and work from our Gyttorp site, supporting projects across the EMEA region. You will manage end-to-end capital projects, coordinating engineering, production and supply chain to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, reporting discipline and a track record of successful project execution. Proficiency in SAP PPM, MS Project and SharePoint is expected, with Swedish and English

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
• Strong track record of leading capital projects from concept through execution, collaborating across technical and operational teams to deliver successful outcomes
• Good documentation and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
• Proficiency in SAP PPM, MS Project, and project reporting tools.
• PMP (or equivalent Project Management certification) preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of capital projects, from planning to commissioning
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, production and supply chain
• Manage project budgets, schedules and resources to meet delivery targets
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure safe and timely project execution
• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and cost optimisation
• Deliver projects safely end-to-end, with zero harm to people or equipment
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to deliver quality outcomes
• Experience leading complex capital projects in manufacturing, engineering, or similar environments
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Experience managing budgets, timelines and project risks
• Background in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous (not essential)
• Familiarity with SAP, project management tools (e.g. MS Project) and SharePoint.
