Job summary

Aquatech International is seeking a Construction Manager in Boden, Sweden to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The role involves managing site schedules, coordinating with the Project Manager, and ensuring that the project is executed according to design, budget, and schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and over ten years of related experience. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are required, along with proficiency in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of construction-related experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction from beginning to end.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager.
• Create and manage the Site Construction Schedule.

Skills

Proficient in reading engineering drawings and documents

Proficient with computer programs (MS Office, Blue Beam, Navisworks)

Knowledge of project control software (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)

Experience in water/wastewater treatment

OSHA standards and site safety practices

Strong communication skills in English and Swedish

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
