Tata Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Service Designer – Digital Services to join our Experience Design team in Sweden. The role focuses on customer journeys, service design, and translating insights into actionable improvements across complex ecosystems.

You will collaborate with UX designers, product teams, and business stakeholders, leading design initiatives from discovery to implementation, and shaping concepts that drive productivity and customer value.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience in Service Design, Customer Experience, or related design disciplines.
• Strong portfolio showing your own design contribution, process, and outcomes.
• Experience with research, synthesis, journey mapping and service blueprinting.
• Ability to connect user needs with business, technology, and operations.

About the assignment

We are looking for an experienced Service Designer with a strong hands‑on design background to join our Experience Design team. This is a design role at its core. You should bring strong experience in customer journeys, and service design, combined with the ability to understand business, operations, and complex service ecosystems. A design portfolio is mandatory. Applications with only a CV and no portfolio will not be considered.

About the Role:

You will work closely with UX designers, Service Owners, product teams, digital teams, aftermarket, dealers, and commercial stakeholders. You will lead service design initiatives from understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities to shaping concepts, aligning stakeholders, and supporting implementation. You are comfortable working in ambiguity, creating structure, and translating complex challenges into clear experience direction and actionable improvements.

What You Will Do:

• Map and improve end-to-end customer and user journeys.

• Create service blueprints connecting customer experiences with processes, systems, and business capabilities.
• Partner closely with UX, Service Owners, product, technology, and business teams.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder alignment.
• Connect design improvements to outcomes such as productivity, uptime, adoption, customer value, and revenue.
• Drive initiatives independently and ensure design work leads to action.

You have:

• 6–10+ years of experience in Service Design, Customer Experience, or related design disciplines.
• A strong portfolio showing your own design contribution, process, and outcomes.
• Experience with research, synthesis, journey mapping and service blueprinting.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to connect user needs, digital products, business, technology, and operations.
• Experience navigating complex organizations and aligning multiple stakeholders.
• The ability to balance customer needs with commercial and operational realities.
• We are looking for a T‑shaped designer: strong in experience design, with service and business design capability layered on top.

Valuable Experience:

Experience with B2B, industrial products, SaaS, connected services, IoT, telematics, fleet management, dealer ecosystems, or global digital products is highly valuable.

Your portfolio should demonstrate how you think and work as a designer, including your role, research and insights, journeys or service blueprints, concepts or prototypes, collaboration, and resulting impact.
