We are looking for an experienced and self‑motivated Senior Tactical Buyer within our procurement team who wants to make a real difference at Stena Line. In this role, you will lead complex sourcing initiatives, drive the execution of key projects and category strategies, and help create value across the business through strong supplier management, commercial insight and stakeholder collaboration.
You will act as a key link between operational procurement, category management, suppliers and internal stakeholders. With your procurement expertise, you will lead negotiations, optimise supplier relationships and contracts, and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, quality, compliance and total cost of ownership.
As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to the development of procurement ways of working, provide guidance in cross‑functional projects and support colleagues by sharing knowledge and coaching Tactical and Operational Buyers.
As a Stena Line employee in Sweden, you will receive a salary package that includes pension benefits and a benefits package comprising travel concessions and onboard discounts, a health cash plan and well‑being activities.
Based in our Gothenburg office, this role follows an office‑first approach, allowing you to work closely with a collaborative Procurement team and both internal and external stakeholders.
At Stena Line, your personal qualities matter just as much as your skills and expertise. You are welcoming, caring and reliable. You have a strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset and enjoy finding smart, effective solutions. You are an enthusiastic, self‑motivated team player who brings a clear “yes‑we‑can” attitude into everything you do. With excellent communication skills, you’re comfortable expressing ideas and collaborating with others. You thrive in a changing environment, are flexible by nature, and are driven by continuous development.
