Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Contribute to Hydro's MDM technical direction and implementation standards

  • Develop and enhance MDM solutions in Semarchy (or similar tools)

  • Maintain and improve tag mappings, data models, and business rules to ensure consistent and high‑quality master data

  • Support integrations and data alignment across internal systems and platforms

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and support data ownership

  • Support incident resolution, platform upgrades, and continuous improvement activities related to MDM solutions

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Hands‑on experience with Semarchy xDM or similar MDM tools.

  • Manage and continuously improve tag mappings, data mappings, and business rules to ensure data consistency, traceability, and quality across systems.

  • Strong skills in data modelling and SQL.

  • Proven experience working in a senior role (technical lead or senior engineer).

  • Strong understanding of MDM architecture, integrations, and data flows.

  • Experience with data governance and data quality concepts.

  • Integration experience (APIs, ETL tools).

  • Ability to lead workshops and advise stakeholders.

  • Structured, pragmatic, and solution‑oriented mindset.

  • Experience in the energy industry is an advantage.
