Job summary

Fortum's Enterprise Online team is seeking a professional to capture user and business needs and translate them into initiatives that maximise customer value and deliver a world-class user experience for our Nordic customer base.

You will develop use cases and user stories, manage the product backlog in an Agile environment, and collaborate across business and technology. The role is hybrid with locations in Espoo, Solna or Oslo.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital development or similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with requirements management tools and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Previous experience in the energy industry is beneficial.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by gathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed business requirements.
  • Develop use cases, user stories, and use planning tools such as Jira and Miro to support development.
  • Define, manage and communicate the Product backlog to stakeholders and team.
  • Prioritize and ensure work aligns with plan and goals, helping solve blockers.
  • Manage multiple projects and adjust priorities based on changing business needs.
  • Solve complex problems with understanding of both business and technical aspects.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a customer-centric approach.
  • Work in the Enterprise Online team with an Agile mindset, taking end-to-end responsibility for the area.

Digital Customer Offering (DCO) is a business function within Fortum Consumer Solutions, where business and technology come together. About the role

We are looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our Enterprise Online team. This role involves capturing user and business needs and translating these into initiatives that maximize customer value and ensure a world-class user experience for our Nordic customer base. Your responsibilities will be:
  • Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by gathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed business requirements, ensuring that digital offerings meet customer needs and align with Fortum's strategic objectives.
  • Develop use cases, user stories, and use planning tools such as Jira and Miro to follow up and support development.
  • Define, manage and communicate the Product backlog to stakeholders and team.
  • Prioritize and ensure that work is being conducted according to plan and set goals and support in solving blockers.
  • Manage multiple projects and adjust priorities based on changing business needs.
  • Solve complex problems requiring an understanding of both business and technical aspects.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a customer-centric approach.
  • You will be part of the Enterprise Online team, focusing on developing and improving services for our enterprise customers. We work within an Agile approach, taking end-to-end responsibility for our area. Our team, consisting of 15 experts with diverse competencies, has a great atmosphere where we work hard and have fun. This position can be located in our office in Espoo, Solna or Oslo.

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
