Job summary

Fortum seeks a Senior Specialist in Master Data Management to lead MDM strategy and implement scalable data foundations across Solna/Espoo. You will shape data governance, models, and rules, collaborating with IT and business to ensure high-quality master data.

You will drive MDM direction, contribute hands-on work, and help reduce external dependencies while aligning with Fortum's hybrid work model. The role supports Hydro/energy data domains and cross-system data flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data management and governance.
• Hands-on experience with Semarchy xDM or similar MDM tools.
• Strong data modeling, mappings, and business rule skills.
• Experience with APIs, ETL tools, and data integrations.
• Ability to lead workshops and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the MDM technical direction and standards.
• Develop and enhance MDM solutions with Semarchy or similar tools.
• Maintain tag mappings, data models, and business rules for quality data.
• Support integrations and data alignment across systems.
• Collaborate with business to understand requirements and ownership.
