Swedbank in Stockholm, Sundbyberg is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to take long-term ownership of the ESG Data Repository. You will shape scalable data platforms, ensure data quality, and drive stability in a business-critical ESG environment.

The role requires strong C#, SQL Server, SSIS, and Data Vault expertise, plus collaboration with senior stakeholders across technology and sustainability to guide architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering with C# and SQL Server.
• Strong experience with SSIS and advanced T-SQL development.
• Proven ability to design and implement Data Vault models.
• Experience building REST APIs in enterprise environments.
• Solid Git version control experience in team-based development.
• Hands-on experience in SAFe-based agile organizations.
• Knowledge of modern data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks) is a plus.
• Experience in IT development within financial services or highly regulated environments is advantageous.
• Fluent English; Swedish language ability beneficial for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the ESG Data Repository design, development, maintenance, and evolution.
• Work hands-on with complex data models and enterprise-scale data flows.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across technology and sustainability domains.
• Contribute to long-term architectural decisions.
