Job summary

Resurs is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and scaling of a modern data platform in a Nordic banking context. You’ll shape data foundations powering decisions across the business, collaborating with data scientists, analysts, product teams, and stakeholders.

You will work with cutting-edge AWS services to build secure, scalable data solutions while aligning with banking regulations. Hybrid work within Sweden with occasional HQ visits in Helsingborg is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering scalable data solutions in cloud environments.
• Strong expertise with AWS data services (S3, Athena, ECS) and related tools.
• Advanced SQL and data warehouse architecture experience; dbt proficiency.
• Hands-on IaC experience (Terraform, CDK) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Python skills for data processing and pipeline development.
• Experience with data governance, security, and regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and architectures using AWS services.
• Build scalable unified data platform solutions supporting advanced analytics.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across data flows per regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data products.
• Drive DataOps practices, monitoring, and automated pipeline orchestration.
• Mentor junior team members and evolve engineering standards.
• Lead technical decisions on data architecture and tooling.
