Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with detection engineering, automation, or SOC/security engineering.
• Proven ability to create, test, and tune production security detections.
• Experience with at least one enterprise SIEM and one EDR/XDR platform.
• Scripting or software development experience (Python/PowerShell) and API-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain detections across multiple environments.
• Translate threat intelligence and attacker behavior into detection logic.
• Build automation for alert enrichment, prioritization, and case creation.
• Develop detection-as-code with automated pipelines, tests, and validation.
