Job summary

SEEL Swedish Electric Transport Laboratory, based in Gothenburg, is expanding its power electronics and charging research activities. You will lead test strategy development, collaborate with industry partners and academics, and contribute to validating converter and inverter concepts at system level.

You will report to the Research Director and work with a small team of senior researchers. Travel within Sweden and occasional Europe trips are expected.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field.
• Strong background in power electronics and converter control.
• Hands-on laboratory experience.
• Experience developing control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with PLECS or similar simulation environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to bridge theory and practical implementation.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading position in SEEL’s growing activities in power electronics and charging.
• Develop test strategies and methods related to power electronics and charging.
• Work with SEEL’s testing teams, industry partners and academic collaborators.
• Disseminate scientific findings in journals and conferences.
