Tata Technologies is seeking a PLC Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Sweden. The role supports industrialization, production development, and manufacturing excellence within automotive environments.

You will lead PLC engineering activities, optimize software, and coordinate with production teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver robust manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 5-7+ years in manufacturing, industrial automation, or automotive industries.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.
• Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols.
• Experience with machine safety systems and electrical hardware/control systems.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Experience working in international, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with electrical and PLC engineering standards throughout projects.
• Follow up on technical solutions, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate end-user handover activities from project phase to production operations.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC software and automation systems.
• Coordinate PLC-related activities with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
• Drive standardization and best-practice sharing between sites and central engineering teams.
• Mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and conduct technical training sessions.
• Maintain effective communication across engineering, production, and project organizations.
