Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 5-7+ years in manufacturing, industrial automation, or automotive industries.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.
• Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols.
• Experience with machine safety systems and electrical hardware/control systems.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Experience working in international, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on technical solutions, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate end-user handover activities from project phase to production operations.

We are currently looking for an experienced PLC Engineer to join a Manufacturing Engineering team supporting industrialization, production development, and manufacturing excellence initiatives within advanced automotive production environments.

About the Assignment

As a PLC Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting new product launches, global manufacturing development projects, and ongoing production activities. You will be responsible for PLC engineering activities, software optimization, industrial automation, and coordination across multiple engineering functions.

This role requires close collaboration with production teams, manufacturing engineering organizations, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure robust, efficient, and standardized manufacturing solutions.

Main Responsibilities

As a PLC Engineer, you will:

• Ensure compliance with established electrical and PLC engineering standards throughout projects.
• Support project execution by following up on technical solutions, timelines, and deliverables within your area of responsibility.
• Coordinate end-user handover activities from project phase to production operations.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.
• Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols.
• Experience with machine safety systems.
• Good understanding of electrical hardware and control systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7+ years of experience within manufacturing, industrial automation, or the automotive industry.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes, facilities, tooling, and equipment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience with electrical design.
• Knowledge of EPLAN.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal.
• Experience supporting industrialization and production launch activities.
