Job summary

emagine's Data & Analytics practice seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to strengthen our GCP-based platform. You will design and implement cloud-native capabilities, balancing hands-on engineering with platform design and security.

You'll collaborate with architects, security and engineering teams to enable self-service, automate delivery, and improve reliability across multiple development streams in a hybrid Solna/Stockholm environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Platform/Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
• Hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience with GKE, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience designing cloud platform foundations / landing zones.
• Experience with IAM, networking, cloud security and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Assignment Description

Data & Analytics is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience to strengthen our Platform & Enablement capability.

The consultant will work with the design, development and continuous improvement of cloud-based platform capabilities supporting Data & Analytics teams. The assignment combines hands-on engineering with platform design, automation, security, reliability and developer enablement.

We are looking for a senior engineer who can work independently in a complex enterprise environment, collaborate closely with platform engineers, data engineers, architects and security stakeholders, and contribute both operationally and strategically to the evolution of our GCP-based platform.

• Several years of hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Strong practical experience with GKE and Kubernetes
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Experience designing or developing cloud platform foundations / landing-zone capabilities
• Experience with IAM, workload identity, networking and cloud security
• Strong experience with CI/CD and automated software/infrastructure delivery
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability in cloud environments
• Experience supporting multiple development or engineering teams through common platform capabilities
• Ability to work independently and take technical ownership in a complex enterprise environment
• Strong communication skills in English
