Job summary

emagine's Data & Analytics practice seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to strengthen our GCP-based platform. You will design and implement cloud-native capabilities, balancing hands-on engineering with platform design and security.

You'll collaborate with architects, security and engineering teams to enable self-service, automate delivery, and improve reliability across multiple development streams in a hybrid Solna/Stockholm environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Platform/Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
• Hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience with GKE, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience designing cloud platform foundations / landing zones.
• Experience with IAM, networking, cloud security and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve platform capabilities on Google Cloud Platform
• Work hands-on with GKE/Kubernetes and container-based workloads
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code, primarily using Terraform
• Contribute to CI/CD and GitOps-based delivery patterns
• Work with GCP networking, IAM, security and access management
• Develop reusable platform components and enable self-service for engineering teams
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, observability and operational reliability
• Support engineering teams onboarding workloads onto the platform
• Work closely with architects, security and engineering teams to ensure scalable and secure platform solutions
• Contribute to technical standards, patterns and long-term platform improvements
