Blykalla AB is seeking a Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our Nuclear Engineering & Safety team in Stockholm. This role involves analyzing the safety case for our lead-cooled fast reactor designs and ensuring they meet the highest safety levels throughout design, licensing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in deterministic safety analysis for commercial reactor types.
• Strong understanding of transients and accident phenomenology.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (SSM, NRC, IAEA or equivalent).

• Analyze safety case for lead-cooled fast reactor designs using deterministic methods.
• Develop and maintain deterministic safety analysis case.
• Prepare safety analysis reports and technical submittals for regulatory review.
