We're seeking an experienced Nuclear Safety Engineer within deterministic safety analysis to join our Nuclear Engineering & Safety team in Stockholm. In this role, you will analyze the safety case for our lead‑cooled fast reactor designs, using deterministic methods on transient and accident conditions. An important part of the job is to document your work with the aim of supporting regulatory interactions, thereby ensuring that our SMRs meet and demonstrate the highest level of nuclear safety throughout design, licensing, and deployment.
The Nuclear Safety & Licensing Engineer sits in the Nuclear Engineering & Safety team within Blykalla, and reports to the manager of Nuclear Engineering & Safety.
