Job summary

Tata Technologies in Gothenburg is seeking a Senior Joining Engineer for the Pilot Plant Battery Assembly team. You will develop and validate joining processes for high-voltage battery systems, collaborating with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, suppliers, and research institutes.

You will lead trials, optimize process parameters, and help industrialize processes for scalable production while maintaining safety and quality standards in a dynamic development environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Automation Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with joining technologies in industrial manufacturing.
Ability to interpret test results and process data.
Experience in cross-functional, international environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize joining technologies for battery manufacturing.
Plan and validate technical trials and process parameters.
Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, and suppliers.
Support industrialization activities and continuous improvements.
Analyze data and recommend improvements.
