Job summary

Doktor.se in Stockholm is seeking a senior iOS engineer to shape the future of our mobile platform. You’ll own the iOS architecture, drive modernisation, and work with product managers and designers to ship at scale.

You’ll collaborate with the Android team, bring test-driven development into the workflow, and help introduce AI capabilities into the patient experience. On-site in Stockholm with a strong, profitable healthcare group.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional iOS development.
Strong opinions on architecture patterns.
Experience with modern and legacy UI frameworks.
Experience writing tests and ideally bringing TDD into a team.
Comfortable integrating with backend services.
Experience with modular codebases or breaking monoliths into modules.
Experience improving and refactoring production codebases.
University degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Settle on a clean, sustainable architecture and drive the migration.
Build new features end-to-end in collaboration with product managers and designers.
Improve testing practices and ideally bring TDD into the team's workflow.
Bring AI capabilities into the patient experience and expand platform scope to mobile.
Own the release process and deployment pipeline.
Work with the Android team to ensure a coherent experience across platforms.
