Job summary

Doktor.se is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to join a small, high-ownership mobile team in Stockholm. You will shape iOS architecture, collaborate with product and design, and deliver features while improving tests. You’ll also drive AI-enabled improvements to the mobile experience and work with the Android team for a cohesive cross‑platform product.

You are a senior developer with a passion for craft, able to ship reliably and influence architecture decisions beyond ticket work.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional iOS development.
Strong understanding of architecture patterns with practical experience.
Experience with modern and legacy UI frameworks.
Experience writing tests and ideally bringing TDD into a team.
Experience with backend integration.
Experience modularizing codebases or breaking monoliths into modules.
Experience refactoring production codebases.
University degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Help settle on a clean, sustainable architecture—we're evaluating approaches now—and drive the migration.
Build new features end-to-end in collaboration with product managers and designers.
Improve testing practices and ideally bring TDD into the team's workflow.
Bring AI capabilities into the patient experience—we're expanding into the mobile apps.
Own the release process and deployment pipeline.
Work with our Android team to ensure a coherent experience across platforms.
