Job summary

Jobtailor in Malmö seeks a Mobile Architect to drive the mobile platform strategy across iOS and Android, designing scalable, secure solutions and aligning with architectural standards.

You will lead technical discussions, mentor teams, and promote CI/CD, automation, and DevSecOps, collaborating with Product, UX, Engineering, Security and Operations.

Experience with Swift/SwiftUI/UIKit or Kotlin/Java, cloud tools, and observability is expected. A Swedish work permit or residency is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mobile application development with a focus on architecture and leadership.
• Strong expertise in iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit) or Android (Kotlin, Java) and modern mobile patterns.
• Experience delivering secure, scalable mobile apps with API integrations, testing, CI/CD and release management.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, cloud tooling, observability, and related engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the mobile architecture strategy and technical direction across iOS and Android platforms.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile solutions aligned with architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, and integration design between mobile apps and backend services.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, Security, and Operations to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support and mentor development teams while promoting automation, testing, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
