Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika, Sweden is seeking three Lead Engineers - Plants to lead technical teams across Plants and Civil engineering for onshore HVDC converter stations and offshore platforms. This role offers exposure to global projects and interfaces with customers and contractors.

You will drive strategic technical decisions, coordinate multidisciplinary activities, and ensure designs meet customer requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or related).
• At least 5 years of engineering experience with leadership of technical teams.
• Experience in HVDC, transmission systems, substations or large energy infra.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical leadership across Plants and Civil engineering teams and interfaces.
• Coordinate global teams and interfaces for onshore HVDC stations and offshore platforms.
• Drive completion of engineering activities in tenders and projects, engaging with technical leads and interface managers.
• Manage technical risks and ensure compliance with quality, safety and engineering processes.
